Cutting Process – Step by Step
1. Fabric Receiving & Relaxing
Fabrics are received and allowed to relax to remove tension and ensure accurate cutting measurements.
2. Fabric Inspection
Fabric is checked for defects, shade variation, and quality issues before spreading.
3. Fabric Spreading
Fabric layers are spread evenly on long cutting tables, maintaining grain alignment and correct ply height.
4. Marker Placement
CAD or manual markers are placed to optimize fabric usage and ensure correct sizing.
5. Fabric Cutting
Fabrics are cut using industrial cutting machines for precise shapes and clean edges.
6. Numbering & Bundling
Cut components are numbered and bundled size-wise to avoid mixing during stitching.
7. Quality Check
Cut parts are inspected for accuracy, defects, and consistency before moving to the stitching department.
