At Tearbird Lifestyle Pvt Ltd (including its manufacturing division, Tearbird Manufacturing), we follow structured, transparent, and buyer-aligned dispatch practices to ensure that every shipment—whether domestic or export—is handled professionally and delivered as per agreed standards.
This Shipping & Dispatch Policy explains how we manage shipping coordination, packaging, and dispatch timelines for business orders placed through our manufacturing unit.
Dispatch Process
All orders are dispatched only after the completion of final finishing, quality inspection, and packaging confirmation. We ensure that packed goods meet the buyer’s defined standards for folding, tagging, polybagging, and carton packing. Dispatch is planned to support smooth transportation and reduce the risk of damages during transit.
Before shipping, carton count, size assortments, labeling requirements, and dispatch instructions are verified as per the buyer’s approved specifications.
Domestic Shipping (India)
For deliveries within India, Tearbird Manufacturing supports dispatch through reliable courier services, surface logistics, or cargo partners depending on the order volume and destination. Domestic dispatch timelines typically depend on completion of production and packing, buyer confirmation of shipping details, and transporter availability.
In cases where the buyer prefers to manage transportation independently, we also support buyer-arranged pickup. The buyer is responsible for coordinating pickup schedules and providing transporter details in advance.
Export Shipping (International)
For international B2B buyers, we provide export-ready dispatch support aligned with buyer expectations and shipment requirements. Our packaging and dispatch process follows approved export packing standards including carton marking, ratio packing, size-wise assortments, and documentation coordination when required.
Export shipments may be arranged via air cargo, sea freight (FCL/LCL), or express courier (typically for sampling). Carrier selection and dispatch terms depend on buyer preference and commercial agreements.
Any export documentation requirements such as commercial invoice formats, packing lists, carton details, HS code declarations, and dispatch specifications are handled as per agreed scope and buyer guidelines.
Packaging & Packing Standards
Packaging and dispatch quality are treated as an essential part of our production process. We pack goods only after final inspection and ensure that finished products are aligned with:
- Folding and presentation standards
- Polybagging and tagging requirements
- Carton packing and weight compliance
- Labeling and barcode instructions (if applicable)
Our packing is designed to ensure safe movement, minimal transit damage risk, and compliance with buyer export protocols.
Shipping Costs & Freight Terms
Shipping and freight charges are handled based on mutual agreement and commercial terms discussed during order confirmation. Unless specifically agreed in writing, freight charges are typically:
- charged separately, or
- borne by the buyer via nominated courier/transport account
We recommend confirming dispatch responsibility and freight terms prior to production finalization, especially for export shipments.
Transit Risk, Damage & Claims
Once goods are handed over to the courier/logistics partner or buyer-designated transporter, transit responsibility applies as per mutually agreed commercial terms.
If Tearbird Manufacturing arranges the shipment, we will assist buyers with tracking details and logistics coordination. In the rare event of transit damage, buyers must notify us immediately and share supporting evidence such as unboxing videos, packaging photos, and damaged product images to enable timely coordination with the logistics partner.
If the buyer arranges the pickup or shipping independently, Tearbird Manufacturing will not be responsible for transit delays, damages, or losses after handover.
Dispatch Delays (Uncontrollable Conditions)
While we always plan dispatch according to committed timelines, delays may occur due to situations beyond our control such as transporter disruptions, weather issues, customs delays, strikes, lockdowns, or regulatory restrictions. In such cases, our team ensures proactive communication and support to minimize buyer impact.
Buyer Responsibilities
To ensure smooth dispatch and delivery, buyers are expected to provide correct and complete shipping details including address, contact person, packing SOPs, labeling formats, and delivery expectations in advance. Any delay in sharing shipping instructions may impact dispatch schedules.
